COVID-19
GREETINGS TUGFEST FANS!
Team Iowa would like everyone to know that as of right now, we are moving ahead with the planning process for our 34th Annual Tug Fest, August 13 – 15, 2020. As we move forward into the coming months, we will be continuing to keep an eye on the COVID-19 situation and will reevaluate the situation as our event gets closer. We know that these are trying times for many and we pray that you all stay strong…together we will get through this!

2020 Festival Theme:
“WRANGLIN’ THE RIVER”
TUGFEST Weekend 2020 is still in the planning phase. Festivities are always held on the LeClaire Levy and will likely take place in early August.

EST. 1987 – LeClaire, Iowa vs Port Byron, Illinois: Watch as 10 x 20-member tug teams pull 2,700ft and 680lb of rope spanning the Mississippi River. Each year the teams compete to see who will claim the travelling alabaster statue of a Bald Eagle in flight. Over 35,000 people view this spectacular and only tug-of-war across the longest river in the U.S.A.
