We are in the planning phase for our 2021 Carnival Weekend. Click for more details…
It is with a sad and heavy heart that we write to inform you that we have chosen to cancel Tug Fest 2020 in LeClaire, IA.
On Sunday, June 28th our Board met to discuss the most recent proclamation from our Governor and changes in insurance policies with regards to Covid-19. We felt the amount of modifications that would need to be made to our festival would render it unrecognizable as our beloved Tug Fest and would not be anywhere near what our fans have come to expect from us.
This was not an easy decision for us and we held out as long as we could but in the end we felt that it was our responsibility and duty to do our part in keeping our fans, volunteers, tuggers and community as safe as we possibly can. From the bottom of our hearts, we thank you for your undying support of Tug Fest and your patience while we made this most difficult decision. Rest assured that we will be back in action planning Tug Fest 2021 very soon so that we can give you the biggest and best event so far.
